Zillertal Incentive Tips

Countless exciting possibilities

Climbing the wall: Schlegeis131

The Schlegeis131 dam stands at 131 m high, with the world’s first via ferrata directly on the wall! This is manageable for anyone without fear of heights, climb to your personal top! If that’s not enough adrenalin rush, try the the abseiling station, climbing parcour or flying fox 600 m above the ground!

Reach new hights on the via ferrata

Climbing is a fun activity, not only to train the brain but all muscles in the body, it increases stamina and self-awareness. Confuzius said: you do not stumble over mountains, but over molehills – which is a great metaphor for handling cliffs and stones. The neighbouring village of Ginzling is an Eldorado for freeclimbers plus there are three via ferrate within Mayrhofen town centre alone. Our local professionals guide their groups, beginners or pros, with extensive knowledge and the occasional banter!

Are you a canyonaut?

The people who hike and climb through canyons are called “canyonauts“. They’re equipped with wetsuits, climbing gear and a lot of courage. Just behind Mayrhofen you’ll find a special natural canyon, the Zemmschlucht, which is a very popular tour. Let yourself be led beyond your comfort zone by our professional local guides and find the hidden views of the canyon.
Canyonauts love the water and moving between rock formations and the river, are you a “homo amphibia” too!
