Arriving by train & bus

Trains operated by the Austrian and Swiss Federal Railways as well as Deutsche Bahn provide great value for money, fast and relaxed transport to Tirol. Moreover, passengers benefit from ongoing offers for business travellers, group rates and special prices for bookings made in advance.

ÖBB Congress Account
Organisers can set up a congress account via the Austrian Federal Railways. This enables participants to purchase train tickets at a significantly discounted price. At the end of the congress, the organiser receives a balance sheet showing how much carbon was reduced as a result.

Innsbruck Central Station is an approx. 10-minute walk from Innsbruck’s Old Town From there, you can quickly and comfortably travel to countless European capital cities using international train and “ICE” connections, such as:

  • From Munich to Innsbruck 7x daily in 1:44 h
  • From Zurich to Innsbruck 6x daily in 3:31 h

From May to the end of October, the ÖBB Nightjet enables a comfortable, climate-friendly and congestion-free journey. 18 Tirol regions can be reached with the Nightjet combo ticket.

Arriving by car

Thanks to its extensive and well-developed infrastructure, Tirol is easily accessible in both summer and winter.   • Via the A12 Inntalautobahn (Inn Valley Motorway) from Germany, crossing the Austrian border at Kufstein
  • Via the A13 Brennerautobahn (Brenner Motorway) from Italy

Getting from A to B in Tirol

Congress participants and business guests who are staying tow or more nights in the area of Innsbruck are offered the Welcome Card. The Welcome Card allows you to use public transport free of charge in the region of Innsbruck.
Included are connections between the individual villages in the region as well as in the city of Innsbruck. The card is also valid on the regional trains of the ÖBB.

Arriving by train, the Alpbachtal Card  allows you to reach your accommodation free of charge with the regional busses.
