Beady Days: Diving for pearls against the tide

Heroes of the future wanted!

Pearl diving in the green River Inn

In times when pessimism about the future is gaining momentum, it is important to find answers and alternative courses of action. Kufstein encourages young people to strive forth, to identify these gems for the future and break new ground as part of the new Beady Days event.

Be beady! In October 2019, Kufstein launched Beady Days, the first festival for heroes of the future. A platform for recharging one’s own superpowers in order to courageously step into the future. Beady Days teaches you how to harness these best for future use.

The country needs new designers

Despite its thick fortress walls, Kufstein demonstrates what curiosity and the joy of design can achieve. Under expert guidance, the future-oriented were called upon to soar into lofty heights of thought, break down the constraints of their own way of thinking and forge new ideas.

Thinking ahead and retrospectiveness become superpowers

Heroes of the future are curious and ask questions. They discuss what the future will bring them and what the society of tomorrow will look like. How should we face the challenges of climate change? Which technologies will we use?

Beady Days are about putting the spotlight on these very questions. Equipped with the right tools, anyone who takes their future into their own hands with conviction and courageously breaks new ground will become a hero in their own life. That’s why the designers of the future are working together with experienced teachers to create a set of tools that creates perspectives and solutions.

Diving for pearls enriches us

Brave visionaries let sparks of thought fly during Beady Days! Their innovative spirit is shared amongst like-minded people, those that think ahead and turn ideas into reality. They dived for gems of wisdom in Kufstein, ones that will enrich us for years to come.

“The gift of giving is gone when you get something back. The important thing is your intention behind it.”
