How does fresh milk turn into cheese, yogurt, and butter? Alpine farming has been a tradition in the Zillertal valley for centuries. Since 1954, the Kröll family has been focusing on the processing of hay milk and refining the precious resources of cows, sheep, and goats.

At Austria’s first showcase dairy, participants can learn about the journey of hay milk from 400 alpine pastures into the packaging through a comprehensive tour of 6,000 m2 of production space. In the transparent manufacturing facility, visitors can observe the cheese makers at work up close, and afterwards, they can indulge in a tasting session of the various products.
