The Gurgl Carat – shaped like a cut diamond – is Europe’s highest-altitude Congress centre, situated at an altitude of 1,930 metres. The glacier-capped mountains in the upper Ötztal valley can be admired from the Congress centre, but are best enjoyed right on the doorstep during walks across the meadows in the valley floor.
A congress centre is used to host large, often international events, which in most cases have an academic focus. They feature meeting and event rooms of various sizes. In many places, they are also used for cultural events.
