Certified accommodation for Workshops, Seminars and Retreats in Tirol

Finding the perfect venue for seminars and team building events – one that is also certified with the Austrian Ecolabel – is not as easy as it sounds. The size has to be right, the surroundings should be inspiring, and the accommodation should offer comfort whilst making responsible use of energy, water and materials.

We have found a number of venues in Tirol that meet these requirements. Here we present a few of them that pay close attention to their energy and resource consumption, prioritise seasonal and regional produce, offer incentives for travelling by public transport, source electricity from hydroelectric and solar power systems, and are certified with the Austrian Ecolabel UZ 200.

    • largest room: 200 People

At the Kaiserlodge, at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser, you can not only relax in style but also work productively. Several modern seminar and meeting rooms with views of the surrounding mountains provide an inspiring setting for this. Thinking ‘outside the box’ is easy in the conference gondola on the hotel’s terrace. Awarded the Austrian Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel, the hotel also relies on electricity from its own solar panel system, uses regional produce and is committed to reducing its overall energy consumption.

Mountain world, forest, panoramic view: even the names of the conference rooms make it clear that nature plays an important role at DAS SIEBEN in Bad Häring. The hotel draws its electricity from renewable energy sources: part of this comes from the hotel’s own solar panel system, whilst heating is supplied by the neighbouring biomass heating plant. The hotel utilises energy-efficient technology in its operations; the kitchen sources seasonal and regional produce; and there is also a free shuttle service for guests arriving by train. The hotel also has plenty to offer when it comes to seminars and team events: it features a large hall for events and presentations, smaller workshop rooms and creative zones for focused work, as well as a show kitchen used for Culinary Experience team building sessions.

The Grawandhütte in the Zillertal valley is a bit of an exception. There’s no spa area here and no junior suites – but there are rooms scented with Swiss stone pine, genuine hospitality and a cosy mountain hut atmosphere at an altitude of 1,640 metres.
Energy is generated from hydropower and solar panels, whilst water is treated on-site and sourced from the hut’s own high-alpine spring. Guests’ culinary needs are also well catered for, ranging from a farmer’s breakfast to a multi-course dinner featuring regional produce. This makes the Grawandhütte the perfect hideaway for teams of up to 30 people seeking a place to focus, recharge and unwind, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
