Hall-Wattens

The region around Hall in Tirol and Wattens is very well connected. Hall is just a few minutes’ train journey from Innsbruck, and regional bus services provide direct links between Hall and both Innsbruck and Wattens. If travelling by plane, we recommend Innsbruck Airport, which is just a few kilometres away. By car, the region is easily accessible via the A12 motorway, taking the Hall-Mitte exit.

The Swarovski Crystal Worlds Shuttle runs five times a day between Innsbruck Central Station and Wattens – in an environmentally friendly and comfortable manner. The Hall-Wattens Region Guest Card entitles holders to free bus travel throughout the entire region. The Hall Valley, and with it the Karwendel Mountains, can be reached from Innsbruck and Hall via the village bus service, which runs every 10 to 20 minutes.

The region comprises ten picturesque villages as well as the town of Hall in Tirol with its historic old town. These include Absam, Thaur, Gnadenwald, Volders, Baumkirchen, Wattens, Fritzens, Kolsass, Weer and Kolsassberg. Also well-known beyond the region is the Karwendel Mountains Nature Park, Tirol’s largest nature reserve, which forms part of the region and provides an impressive alpine backdrop for Incentive activities.
