Arrival by public transport
Travel by train to Imst-Pitztal railway station, then continue by regional bus to Mandarfen or Mittelberg in the Pitztal Valley. From Mittelberg, the hut can be reached on foot in approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
Situated at 2,434 metres above sea level, Taschachhaus is a modern German Alpine Club training centre in the Pitztal Valley. With seminar rooms, an indoor climbing hall and comfortable accommodation, it provides an exceptional setting for meetings, workshops and team events surrounded by impressive alpine glaciers.
Located at 2,434 metres in the Ötztal Alps between the Taschach and Sexegerten glaciers, Taschachhaus combines professional seminar facilities with a spectacular high-alpine setting. As an official German Alpine Club training centre, it offers several seminar and group rooms, an indoor climbing hall, Wi-Fi and comfortable accommodation in rooms and dormitories. The spacious sun terrace overlooking the surrounding glaciers, excellent regional cuisine and easy access from the valley make Taschachhaus an outstanding venue for seminars, workshops, team-building activities and alpine training courses.

Free public parking is available in Mandarfen and at the Glacier Cable Car parking area in Mittelberg. Mittelberg is the recommended starting point for the shortest hike to Taschachhaus.
