Arrival by public transport
Take the train to Imst-Pitztal Station, then take the Postbus into the Pitztal valley to Mandarfen or Mittelberg. From Mittelberg, the shortest approach leads to the Taschachhaus in about 2.5 to 3 hours on foot.
The Taschachhaus, located at 2,434 m, is a modern DAV training center in the Pitztal Valley. With seminar rooms, a climbing gym, and comfortable rooms, the mountain hut offers the ideal setting for workshops, team-building events, and alpine activities against the backdrop of an impressive glacier landscape.
The Taschachhaus is located at 2,434 meters above sea level in the Ötztal Alps, between the Taschachferner and Sexegertenferner glaciers. As a modern training center for the German Alpine Club, the hut combines professional seminar facilities with a unique alpine setting. Several seminar rooms, an indoor climbing gym, Wi-Fi, and comfortable private rooms and dormitory accommodations provide the ideal conditions for seminars, workshops, team-building activities, training and continuing education programs, and alpine events. The spacious sun terrace with a view of the glaciers, the excellent cuisine, and easy access via various trails make the Taschachhaus an exceptional event venue in the Tyrolean mountains.
