Natural Thrills

Tirol for adrenalin junkies

Those who love a challenge, a certain thrill and daring venture will find numerous opportunities to experience all three in Tirol.

Plunge into the depths

Tandem paragliding, bungee jumping, giant swings, zip wires or even heli-skiing? You and your whole team can plunge from dizzying heights with breathtaking views of the Tirolean landscape into the depths of the province. The world and its surroundings look completely different from a bird’s eye perspective.
These heights, however, can also be enjoyed in a more relaxed, yet non-the-less exciting manner during a hot-air balloon ride, or a walk over the longest pedestrian suspension bridge.

Adrenalin junkies who don’t share a penchant for the dizzying heights will, however, also find plenty to do in Tirol.

Splish, splash and soaking wet

White-water rafting, canyoning, or even a ride in a homemade kayak. Rafting is a great way to demonstrate and strengthen your teamwork skills.
Blobbing, on the other hand, is certain to catapult your colleagues to unknown heights.
The largest outdoor playground, AREA47, offers numerous sporting incentive experiences.

Just like a pro

Feel like the crew of “Cool Runnings” for once in your life: those who whizz through the finish line on the Olympic bobsleigh run in Innsbruck-Igls, come pretty close to the adrenalin level of a professional bobsleigh pilot after hurtling down the ice track at up to 120 kilometres per hour. Whether it’s bob-rafting in a self-steering five-person foam bobsleigh, summer bobsleigh with a professional pilot or in a wok, the 1,270 metres and ten daredevil bends are an unparalleled challenge and not for the faint-hearted. The bobsleigh track can also be used by daring teams in summer.

Take a seat at the “Happle bar” of the Bergisel ski jump. Where usually only professional ski jumpers position themselves prior to their jump, teams and groups can experience the view down the hill and over the rooftops of Innsbruck for themselves. An unusual experience that can be perfectly combined with subsequent team competitions on the fun jump in the stadium and rounded off in the Sky Restaurant.
