Conferencing above the clouds: extraordinary locations for unique seminars

Learn new things above the clouds and develop an entirely new perspective at over 2,500 metres above sea level.

Brainstorming sessions, workshops, meetings and events are increasingly taking place well away from the stresses of everyday office life. Get away from your desk and embrace your creative flow. What could be better than a location above the clouds, where it is easy to switch off and offers a feast for the eyes? The Schultz Group’s portfolio includes five special locations where conferences turn into a real highlight.

Meetings, relaxation and golf in Tirol in the Zillertal Valley
The new Spieljochbahn cable car with an ultramodern mountain station at 1,865 meters altitude came into being this year. The Mountain Loft restaurant offers seminar rooms that can accommodate up to 120 people, coupled with an impressive panorama of the Karwendel, Rofan and foothills of the Zillertal Alps. Gourmet chefs serve seminar participants specialities in the lounge and on the terrace. Flagging energy levels can be boosted on comfortable sun-loungers during conference breaks.

Sportresidenz Zillertal****s also impresses with the best prerequisites for a well-balanced seminar: discerning conference guests can look forward to a professionally equipped conference room, first-class wellness and culinary delights as well as an 18-hole championship golf course. Numerous outdoor activities right outside the front door provide not only the ultimate balance to demanding brainwork, they also bring participants closer together – this is team building at its best.

Sustainable conferencing in East Tirol
The sky knows no bounds in East Tirol, where you can even find conference facilities at around 2,500 metres above sea level. High up, on top of the Cimaross Peak at 2,600 metres above sea level lies the Adlerlounge, at the highest point of the Kals-Matrei ski resort. Adlerlounge offers space for a summit meeting for up to 100 people, including views of 60 three-thousand-metre peaks and the Grossglockner, Austria’s highest mountain at 3,798 metres. Seminar attendees can reach the summit location comfortably by gondola lift. If you want to put teambuilding on the agenda, you could even hike up or down the mountain.

The perfect starting point for a conference in the Adlerlounge or even an alternative conference venue is the Gradonna **** s Mountain Resort Châlets & Hotel, which places a particular focus on sustainability: the low-energy house, which blends harmoniously into the unique natural surroundings and was built from natural building materials, can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people. Larger events at four-star superior standards – for up to 400 participants – are possible in the newly built Kals am Großglockner cultural centre.

Productive conferencing in Hochpustertal
Dolomiten Residenz****s Sporthotel Sillian in the Alta Pusteria Valley in East Tirol is nestled between the Lienzer and Sesto Dolomites as well as the mighty Grossglockner. The hotel offers ample space for productive conferencing – suffused with natural light and professionally equipped.
