Peace Bell viewing platform

With an impressive weight of 10,450 kilograms and a clapper weighing 303 kilograms, the peace bell in Mösern is the largest freestanding bell in the Alpine region. It was cast by the Grassmayr bell foundry in Innsbruck on behalf of the municipality of Telfs and the Region Seefeld. It symbolises cohesion, cooperation and cross-border exchange.

Situated on Tyrol’s high plateau, the Peace Bell invites you to pause for a moment and let your gaze wander over the Inntal valley 600 metres below. The 90-minute Peace Bell Hiking Trail, which leads directly to the bell, is ideal as an inspiring conference break or as an active supporting programme for meetings and incentives – either as a guided tour or as an independent excursion. Every day at 5 pm, the bell rings out and sends a powerful message of peace and friendship – a moment that inspires reflection and creates space for new perspectives.
