Innsbruck – in light of the current situation, the annual Cardiology Congress held in Innsbruck from 4th to 6th March, was hosted virtually for the very first time. The 23rd conference was professionally handled and streamed by PCO Tyrol Congress/Congress Messe Innsbruck via the internationally established “EventsOnAIR” congress platform. The virtual platform gave the 750 or so connected participants access to scientific sessions, discussion forums, the virtual industrial exhibition and question-and-answer sessions. Moreover, there was an opportunity for personal exchange with colleagues in the “Meeting Hub”. In addition to the 25 live lectures from the Tirol Hall in Congress Innsbruck, 31 lectures by international speakers were pre-recorded using professional software and integrated into the streaming platform.
PCO Tyrol Congress/Congress Messe Innsbruck is delighted with the positive outcome of this successful virtual congress and the experiences gained by the team for future events of this kind.
